1. Quartz sand washing and graded desliming method

2. Quartz sand scrubbing method

Quartz sand scrubbing uses a scrubbing machine to cause movement between minerals. During the process, the friction between mineral particles causes the particles attached to the quartz surface to move. Impurity minerals (film iron and sticky impurities, etc.) are removed, and then the mineral particles are classified to achieve the purpose of purification. At present, quartz sand scrubbing methods can be divided into two types: rod friction scrubbing and mechanical scrubbing.

Mechanical scrubbing: Generally, the scrubbing concentration of quartz ore needs to be kept at 50%~60%, which is ideal. Too high or too small concentration will cause problems. Adversely affects the scrubbing effect.

Rod friction scrubbing:When scrubbing, add appropriate mineral processing agents to increase the electrical repulsion between impurity minerals and quartz surface, and enhance the separation efficiency of impurities and quartz.

3. Quartz sand magnetic separation method

Magnetic separation method separates quartz sand. Generally, quartz sand minerals containing hematite, biotite and other weakly magnetic quartz sand are processed through equipment. With excellent magnetic properties, weak magnetic separation can be used to select highly magnetic impurity minerals (such as magnets), and strong magnetic separation can be used to select weak magnetic impurities (such as hematite, biotite, etc.).

Wet strong magnetic separation equipment has a better effect on removing weak magnetic impurities such as limonite, hematite and biotite in quartz ore; while when removing strong magnetic impurities such as magnetite, Weak magnetic equipment or medium magnetic equipment is required.

4. Quartz sand flotation method

The flotation method uses beneficiation agents to change the mineral properties of the mineral surface and separate it. a way. When flotation is used to purify quartz sand, usually after scrubbing, desliming or magnetic separation, if the desired purity cannot be achieved, flotation will be chosen for further purification. It is mostly used to deal with feldspar, mica and various non-magnetic associated mineral impurities in quartz sand. There are two main methods currently available: fluorine flotation and fluorine-free flotation.
