Nowadays, many mineral processing plants use XCF/KYF inflatable flotation units to complete flotation operations. So how should this type of flotation machine be maintained in daily operations? Let’s take a brief look at it below!
XCF/KYF type flotation machine Correct operations mainly include: starting up, stopping, adjusting the suction volume, adjusting the slurry level, patrolling, etc., in order to protect the flotation machine equipment.
When starting up the flotation machine for the first time, the ore is allowed to be fed first. After the slurry submerges the impeller to an appropriate depth, it can be started up to avoid splashing of ore. When the impeller rotation direction of the flotation machine is clockwise, it cannot run in the reverse direction. When the entire series is shut down and then restarted, the machines should be started forward in sequence from the final tank where the slurry flows. Only after the entire series is started can the ore be fed.
When it is necessary to shut down, the ore feeding should be stopped first, and then shut down in sequence starting from the ore feeding trough. There is no need to release the ore after stopping.
The air suction volume can be adjusted by the opening of the suction pipe valve according to the different properties of the slurry and the process parameters of the separation operation. Adjust the required inhalation volume.
According to the requirements of the production process during operation, Maintain the required slurry liquid level by adjusting the opening of the valve electrically or manually.
During operation, the operation of the equipment should be inspected, and the main shaft transmission device, scraper transmission device, agitator bearings, motors, and reducers should be inspected. If the temperature rises, add lubricating oil to each moving part in time. The wooden (or rubber) bearing of the scraper shaft should be lubricated with clean water.
In addition, we also need to pay attention to safety issues during operation.
During the operation of the XCF/KYF flotation machine, it is necessary to prevent large stones, tools, cotton yarn and other debris from falling into the tank to avoid jamming the impeller and causing failure. The operator's hands are not allowed to reach into the rotating parts in operation to avoid injury. During inspection and operation, attention should be paid to personal safety, to prevent falling into the tank, and to pay attention to electrical safety.
During the operation of the equipment, it is necessary to inspect the temperature rise of the bearings and scraper bearings of the flotation machine stirring mechanism, which should not exceed 60℃, the temperature rise of the motor should not exceed the allowable value.
When the mixer makes abnormal noise, you should check the gap between the stator and the impeller, the main shaft bearing, the transmission triangle tape, and the fixing bolts everywhere, and deal with or replace the parts where the abnormal problems occur.
The stator, impeller and false bottom (the tank without false bottom) are easily worn by the erosion of high-speed slurry , check frequently and replace in time.
The fastening bolts in the tank body are easy to loosen and fall off under the impact of high-speed slurry, which may cause the stator to sink. They must be inspected every shift and tightened in time.
When the scraping rate of the bubble scraping mechanism drops, check whether the scraper is displaced or damaged, and adjust and replace it in time. When the bubble scraping mechanism vibrates or swings, check whether the transmission shaft is deformed and whether the coupling shafts are disengaged.
Inspect the impeller. When the wear diameter of the impeller exceeds 10%, there are holes or cracks, it must be replaced in time.
The mixing mechanism and bubble scraping mechanism reducer of the XCF/KYF flotation machine need to change the oil every three months. The main shaft bearing of the mixing mechanism is filled with oil once a week. The oil-containing bearings of the bubble scraping mechanism are refueled once a day. The feeding amount and concentration should be kept stable, the dosing system should be reasonable, the air intake should be adjusted appropriately, the liquid level of the flotation tank should be adjusted in time, and the scraper should not be wiped. Stop feeding before parking. When the parking time is too long, the ore discharge valve should be opened to empty the slurry to avoid sedimentation of sludge at the bottom of the tank and clogging the pipeline. Always check whether the automatic liquid level control device operates reliably and whether the liquid level given value is appropriate. Lubricating oil or grease should be added to each rotating part of the flotation machine in time. The period for adding oil or grease to each rotating part is as follows.
Lubrication parts | Oil or grease | Standard number | Remarks |
Spindle, bearings, seals | No. 2 sodium-based grease | GB/T492-1989
Motor bearings | Ball bearing grease | SH/T0386-1992
Scraper | Copper or powder metallurgy sleeve | < td>No. 2 sodium-based greaseGB/T492-1989
Wood or rubber | Clear water | < td>||
Reducer | No. 40 engine oil (subject to the oil grade of the reducer supplier) | If the oil level is lower than the lower line of the oil dipstick, refill the oil until the oil level reaches the upper line of the oil dipstick. |
The above are the daily inspection and maintenance methods of the XCF/KYF inflatable flotation machine. Note that staff should strictly follow the daily maintenance and regular inspection procedures of the flotation machine in the work room to avoid various malfunctions caused by improper maintenance of the flotation machine due to incorrect operations.
