At present, the common air-suction mechanical agitation flotation machines are:SF type flotation machine, BF type flotation machine, JJF type flotation machine machine, GF flotation machine, XJK flotation machineetc. Inflatable mechanical agitation flotation machines includeKYF type flotation machine, XCF type flotation machine, CLF coarse particle flotation machine, XJB rod type Flotation machineetc. No matter what kind of flotation machine it is, its structure and working principle are the same. Below we mainly introduce the structure and working principle of the mechanical agitation flotation machine.
The structure of mechanical agitation flotation machine mainly consists of impeller, cover plate, stator and rotor system, tank body, motor, bearing, ore feeding/ It is composed of medium ore/suction pipe and other parts.
Among them, the impeller and cover plate are the main components of this type of flotation machine, and they determine the degree of aeration of the slurry. The impeller consists of a disc with 6 extended rectangular blades, which are fastened to the base plate at the lower end of the main shaft with nuts;
The cover plate is a central disc, made of cast iron or rubber-lined , with 18-20 slurry circulation holes on it. There are 18-20 diagonally arranged guide blades with a radius of 60° on the bottom edge, and their inclination direction is consistent with the direction of rotation of the impeller.
This type of flotation machine consists of 2-6 cells. In the unit, one tank has a slurry inlet pipe as a suction slurry tank, and tanks 2-6 are direct flow tanks. There is an intermediate chamber between the primary tank and the second tank, and the slurry is connected below. The slurry level of each group of flotation cells is adjusted by the gate, and a cover plate and an air cylinder are installed above the impeller.
During operation, the motor pulley rotates through the V-belt main shaft pulley and the main shaft, causing the flotation machine impeller to rotate together with the main shaft, thus forming a partial vacuum between the cover plate and the impeller. Zone, the air is sucked in from the suction pipe through the air cylinder, and at the same time the slurry is sucked in through the slurry suction pipe. After the two are mixed, the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller is thrown into the tank through the guide plate on the edge of the cover plate.
Under the strong stirring action of the impeller, the air in the slurry is dispersed into bubbles and evenly distributed in the slurry. When the suspended mineral particles collide with the bubbles, the floating mineral particles are attached to the bubbles and brought to the liquid. A mineralized foam layer is formed on the surface, which is then scraped out by a scraper as concentrate, and the mineral particles not attached to the bubbles are discharged into the next tank as tailings.
The above content is an introduction to the structure and working principle of a mechanical agitation flotation machine. This type of flotation machine is mostly used in small and medium-sized ore processing plants for concentrate operations.
