01Albite crushing and grinding process

Sodium feldspar crushing and grinding process

The sodium feldspar ore is transported to the crusher by a conveyor for crushing. Usually, jaw crushers, cone crushers, etc. can be used. The crushed sodium feldspar should be screened to improve the efficiency of subsequent grinding. The screening equipment can use a vibrating screen. The ore after screening enters the grinding process to further refine the ore particles and improve the flotation performance. Ball mills, rod mills, etc. are usually used.

Crushing, screening and grinding are the preliminary treatment processes of albite ore. Through these processes, the ore can obtain a suitable particle size, thus providing a basis for subsequent beneficiation, flotation and purification processes.

02Albite ore desludging process

After crushing, screening and other treatments, the ore will contain some fine particles and mud. These fine particles will affect the subsequent flotation process, so the ore must first enter the desludging tank or cyclone, and remove the fine particles and mud from the ore by hydrocyclone separation. During the desludging process, the flow rate of the desludging tank or cyclone, the size and angle of the cyclone and other parameters can be adjusted to obtain a good desludging effect.

The overflow generated by the desludging process contains fine particles and mud, which needs to be collected by a sedimentation tank or cyclone and sent to a sedimentation tank for sedimentation. After sedimentation, the fine particles and mud in the overflow will settle at the bottom, and the supernatant will be extracted for treatment.

03Albite flotation process

Sodium feldspar flotation process

Flotation in the process of sodium feldspar ore dressing is an important beneficiation method used to separate sodium feldspar from other minerals to obtain high-purity sodium feldspar concentrate. After desludging, a certain amount of regulator, anionic collector (such as fatty acid, sulfonic acid) or cationic collector is added to the slurry to improve the selectivity of flotation. The regulator added to the ore can optimize the flotation process, and the inhibitor can prevent certain minerals from floating up, while enhancing the flotation performance of sodium feldspar. Air foam is introduced into the slurry to selectively float the sodium feldspar. The floated sodium feldspar forms a froth flotation layer and is collected as a concentrate.

The flotation process is one of the key steps in the beneficiation of sodium feldspar ore. By adding appropriate regulators and flotation agents and optimizing flotation conditions, the effective separation of sodium feldspar from other minerals can be achieved, thereby obtaining high-quality sodium feldspar products.

04Albite Dehydration Process

The concentration and dehydration steps in the albite ore beneficiation process are to obtain a higher concentration of albite concentrate from the flotation product and remove excess water, so that the albite concentrate is suitable for subsequent treatment and use.

The flotation concentrate slurry is pumped into the concentration tank for concentration, and the underflow slurry enters the filter press or filter for dehydration. The overflow part can be reused as reflux water. After concentration and dehydration, the high-concentration, low-water albite concentrate is the final product.
