Among them, for sheet mica with a crystal outline area greater than 4cm2, it can be selected according to the differences in the shapes of mica crystals and gangue ores, friction systems, etc. Three methods can be used: hand selection, friction selection and shape selection; and For crushed mica with a crystal outline area less than 4cm2, it is selected based on the physical and chemical properties and specific gravity of the gangue mineral surface. Generally, flotation, gravity separation and winnowing methods are used.

The equipment required for mineral processing at this stage includes: inclined plate separator, vibrating screen, flotation machine, stirring tank, shaker and spiral classifier.

Hand selection method: Manual selection is usually used. Workers pick out mica that has been separated into monomers on the mining working face or the ore pile at the pit mouth. When conjoined minerals appear,you can use a hand hammer to crush it to separate its monomers, and then select the mica concentrate.

Friction sorting method: It is sorted based on the difference in the sliding friction coefficient of flaky mica crystals and the rolling friction coefficient of round gangue minerals. Generally, an inclined plate is used Sorting machine.

Shape sorting method: It is sorted based on the different shapes of mica crystals and gangue ores. One or two layers of vibrating screens can be used to complete the sorting.

Flotation method:According to the difference in surface physical and chemical properties between mica and other impurity minerals, XCF, KYF, SF, JJF type flotation machines and high-efficiency stirring tanks are used , chemical mixing tank to complete flotation separation and obtain qualified mica concentrate.

Mica ore dehydration treatment equipment

Dehydration treatment is mainly for dehydration of concentrate and tailings. Concentration equipment and filtration equipment are mainly used for concentrate dehydration to make wet mica essence After the ore reaches a certain moisture content, it is dried for industrial applications; dehydration of mica tailings is mainly determined according to the tailings treatment requirements, and different tailings dry discharge processes can be used to achieve dehydration.
