Case details

The main metallic minerals in the sulfur-zinc mine project are pyrite, sphalerite, pyrrhotite, and galena, and the non-metallic minerals are dolomite, calcite, quartz, and silicon Greystone.

Process Introduction

Through the test results, Xinhai customized the mineral processing process for it as a closed-circuit grinding-zinc-sulfur mixed flotation+zinc-sulfur separationFlotation process. Qualified crushed materials are fed into the ball mill by the belt conveyor, the self-flowing product enters the vibrating screen, the material above the screen returns to the ball mill, the product under the screen is pumped into the cyclone for classification, and the underflow returns to the ball mill to form a closed-circuit grinding operation.

When entering the flotation operation, the overflow from the cyclone is fed into the high-efficiency stirring tank, where chemicals are added and stirred. After stirring, the slurry enters the zinc-sulfur mixed flotation operation of two coarsening, two sweeping and three selection.

The two rough selection operations use XCF-8 flotation machine and KYF-8 flotation machine; the three selected operations all use SF-4 flotation machine; The XCF-8 flotation machine and KYF-8 flotation machine are used in the 1st and 2nd stages of sweep operation, and the final flotation tailings enter the tailings dry discharge workshop.

Project results

The full mining industry chain services provided by Xinhai for this project enabled the final zinc concentrate production rate of the dressing plant to be 11.96% and the sulfur concentrate production rate to be 11.57%.
