Case details

Hebei 400t/d feldspar mine project, the main minerals of the ore are potash feldspar and albite, with a content of 60-80%. The potassium feldspar is white-flesh red and is semi-autonomous. It is plate-shaped, and some crystals have lattice twin crystals; followed by quartz, quartz is milky white, irregular and worm-like, with a content of 10-30%; biotite is a small amount, black flakes, with a content of 1-5%; muscovite has white scales Shape, content 1-5%; partially contains magnetite and tourmaline, plate-like black.

Process flow

Feldspar reverse flotation grinding and grading operations

Flotation process, after crushing-screening, grinding-grading, and impurity removal in the early stage, it enters the separation stage. The separation operation is divided into midfield strong magnetic separation-desliming-reaction Flotation has three operations. The grinding product flows to the magnetic separator to remove magnetite impurities. The magnetic tailings flow to the pump box and are driven into the desludging hopper by the slurry pump for desliming. The bottom flow of the desludging hopper flows to the slurry stirring tank for stirring and dosing. After sufficient stirring, it flows to the reverse flotation operation consisting of XCF and KYF flotation machines to remove iron oxide and mica. The finally obtained feldspar concentrate enters the cyclone for classification, and overflows into the desludging hopper for dehydration and concentration. The underflow and the desludging hopper product are combined into a high-concentration slurry with a concentration of more than 50%, and they flow together to the dewatering screen for dehydration. The final moisture content of the feldspar concentrate is controlled below 15%, and is transported to the concentrate yard by a belt conveyor, where it is regularly loaded onto trucks and shipped out for sale. The sewage under the dehydration screen flows automatically to the pump box and is pumped into the cyclone for re-classification and dehydration.

Project results

In the end, the project’s feldspar concentrate production rate was 73.31%, and it can provide 87,972 tons of feldspar concentrate to the society every year. At the same time, after the implementation of this project, it has solved the local employment problem to a certain extent, can share part of the employment pressure with the society, and achieved good social and economic benefits.
