Case details

The fluorite ore has a simple ore composition, mainly composed of fluorite, quartz and calcite. The main chemical components are CaF2 and SiO2. The CaF2 content is 28.30-87.49%, the average content is 58.19%, the SiO2 content is 8.18-65.38%, the general content is 25-38%, the average content is 34.11%, the CaF2 and SiO2 contents are in a waxing and waning relationship, and the two contents account for 92-95%.

Process Introduction

In the pre-sorting operation, the ore is crushed to -15mm through a crusher, and a grid ball mill is used to grind the ore to -200 mesh accounting for 65%.

The ore dressing stage adopts a mature flotation process of one rough, one sweep and seven fines. The roughing, sweeping and fine selection operations all use SF type flotation machines. The medium ore is returned in sequence, and the concentrate and tailings are pumped to the concentrate and tailings dehydration system respectively. The concentrate is dehydrated using concentration and filtration dehydration processes, and the final concentrate water content is less than 20%; the tailings dehydration uses the tailings dry discharge process, and finally The water content of tailings is less than 20%.

Project results

The project's concentrate grade CaF2 is as high as 97.78%, and the recovery rate is 83.13%. It can produce nearly 100,000 tons of fluorspar powder, and the efficiency of the plant is considerable. At the same time, project implementation has also solved local employment problems and achieved good economic and social benefits.
