Gold mine slurry impurity removal process

Before gold leaching, impurities need to be removed. An impurity removal operation needs to be set up before the concentration operation and after grinding. Concentration process before gold ore leaching

When the overflow concentration of the grinding classification is 18-22%, it is not suitable for direct leaching. High-efficiency concentrator equipment can be used to process the slurry. Concentrated treatment.

Gold mine leaching and adsorption process

The impurity-removed and concentrated slurry is driven into high-efficiency leaching tanks arranged in a ladder shape. Generally, 5-12 leaching tanks are connected in series. configuration. Cyanide is added to the first one or two leaching tanks, and activated carbon is added to the rear leaching tanks. Since sodium cyanide has just been added to the first one or two tanks, the amount of leached gold is small. Therefore, most gold mine carbon leaching and concentrating plants use the first one or two leaching tanks as pre-leaching tanks, and the following leaching tanks are leaching adsorption tanks. .

Generally, each leaching tank is equipped with a carbon screen to separate activated carbon and slurry. Activated carbon and slurry are adsorbed in counter-current flow. Fresh activated carbon is added from the last leaching adsorption tank, while gold-loaded carbon is discharged from the first leaching adsorption tank. Activated carbon becomes gold-loaded carbon by adsorbing gold in the slurry. After the adsorption operation is completed, the slurry containing gold-loaded carbon is sent to the carbon extraction screen through an air lifter to separate the slurry from the activated carbon. After screening and washing, the slurry is sent to desorption electrolysis operation. The gold grade of the slurry solution adsorbed by this method is generally 0.01-0.03g/m³.

Gold mine dehydration and mixing process

Application scope of gold extraction using carbon slurry from gold mines

It is suitable for the beneficiation of large-scale gold mines with higher grades and the beneficiation of gold ores with a high associated silver and copper content.
